Ⅰ. Machine Applications
This machine is mainly designed for roughing and finishing spur racks with maximum length of 2000mm and maximum module of 8mm. The working accuracy of the machine can reach Grade 6, and the tooth blank can be Ra3.2.
The machine cuts racks using a disk-type shaping cutter. When a helical guide is equipped on the cutter spindle and a cutter with a certain helical angle is adopted, helical racks can be accommodated.
Racks made of nonferrous metal, cast iron, carbon steel, alloy steel, etc. can be cut on this machine. It’s especially suitable for the job and small lot production as well as batch production.
Ⅱ. Main Performance and Structural Characteristics of Machine
1. The machine is of a rigid longitudinal layout with the individual front and rear machine beds. This facilitates the alternation of machine versions.
2. A FANUC Oi-C CNC control system is equipped on the machine, which controls three axes, or the cutter rotation, the lateral movement of the table and the longitudinal movement of the table.
3. A cutter relieving mechanism of optimally-curved double roller is used on the machine, which can perform the accurate, stable and low noise cutter relieving motions.
4. The main motions of the machine are driven by means of a hydraulic friction plate speed changing device for the constant power speed regulation of the main motor.
5. To guarantee the high precision cutting operation, imported precision ball screws are used for both the radial feed and the tangential feed.
6. The rack cutting procedures are divided into “one direction” cutting cycle and “bi-direction” cutting cycle to meet the needs of different cutting requirements.
7. Forced lubrication is adopted for the upper and lower supports of the cutter spindle reciprocating motions, and timed and quantitative lubrication is used for the worktable.
8. Sufficient cooling oil flow dissipates timely the cutting heat to ensure the stable machining accuracy.
9. The machine equips with a chip rinsing system, which can be controlled manually or automatically.
10. An independent hydraulic station is available. Oil returns quickly, and the mixture of oil can be avoided effectively.
11. We can design and manufacture fixtures on request of the customers.
12. For the convenience of machine operation, a free-standing electrical cabinet is equipped with an air conditioner and a swiveling pedant control panel.
13. A beautiful, safe and suitable enclosure with a good visibility is equipped on the machine to prevent the oil from splashing. In addition, the machine has an automatic chip conveyor.
